By The days until may 4 is one of the most popular days to wear a hat or sunglasses in LA. The reason is because the sun is out, the air is warm, the streets are not deserted, and the temperature is more than just pleasantly average.
It is also one of the most popular days for people to get a tattoo, and some people (like me) have even started getting them on tuesday, which is the day of May 4th. It’s a little ridiculous, but it’s a lot of fun.
On the other hand, the days before may 4 are just a little less popular. May 1st is the day of the first Monday in May, which is very popular. On the first Monday of May, the sun is out, the air is warm, and the streets are not completely deserted. We get a little bit of a kick out of this because the first Monday of May is also the first Monday of summer, which is the peak of summer clothing season.
I think that’s a little unfair. The first Monday of May is the first Monday of summer, so it’s much more popular.
And now we go to a day that is much less popular than its first Monday. This is the day of the last Monday in July which is usually a little less popular than its first Monday. I think that’s just a coincidence.
There is a much more direct link between this and the fact that there are far more people wearing shorts and sandals than there are people wearing jeans and t-shirts. When people wear shorts they are more likely to be seen as young (and therefore more likely to be seen as cool). But when they wear jeans and T-shirts they are likely to be more recognized as old and therefore less cool.
This is a very common misconception. People believe that wearing shorts is cooler because it comes from a cooler place, that it is more natural, that it is more comfortable, etc. I think this is a bit of a stretch, because it is more likely to be the case that wearing shorts is seen as cool because the wearer is young, or because they are a “cool” person. Most of the time I think that we just have really bad self-awareness.
So what’s the plan here? I think the plan is to go in and check on the people who have chosen this strategy. I don’t think they’re the ones who are actually paying attention to us, but I think the plan is to start looking at the people who are actually paying attention to us and then check on what they can do to keep us up-to-date.
We were already on our toes in the comments on the trailer, so I guess this post would be more about the actual plan.
