By A lot of people have the misconception that it’s a one-way flight. I don’t believe it is at all. I think the best way to describe it is as a long, slow jaunt through the airports of the world. It is one of the most isolating and boring forms of travel there is, and it makes you feel like you are just a bit further away from everybody else.

After being in bangalore for only a few days, one of the first things I noticed was the lack of shops. I didn’t have a lot of time to browse the town but being in the airport that I did, it was amazing. There are lots of shops but not in the traditional sense – you can walk up to any shop and ask for a drink and it’s usually cheaper than if you were to walk into a shop.
The shopping centers are basically the same as the airports, only they are a different place. I was in the airport but the shops in the center are all the same as those in the airport – they have a wide selection of food and clothing, and the shops in the center have more of a retail feel. They both have a very similar feel and it was hard to differentiate.

I can’t really recommend it though because in my opinion, most of the stuff you get for a very low price in India is either crappy or out of reach.
It all started with a simple trip to the local mall in San Francisco. You could get a pack of gum for free and you could buy a new pair of shoes for less than thirty bucks. In a word, if you want to shop, you have to go to the mall. That has opened the doors to what was previously a very expensive part of the world for me.
The first time I went to the mall, I was pretty sure I had arrived in India in an alternate universe. I was pretty sure I had traveled to India and gone to the mall. I had so many things I wanted to buy that I had no idea where I was. I was so excited I didn’t even notice when I had stopped to buy a pack of gum.
