It will be ok to be ok. We can always find something to be ok. It’s not even a question. We’re programmed to be ok. The fact that we’d rather go in and be ok than to go out and find something else to be ok… well, we’re just animals, and we’re programmed to be ok. It goes against nature.

It sounds like a very depressing thought. Most of these problems are really just the result of the simple fact that we programmed ourselves to be so unhappy. We are programmed to be ok. (In fact, the only thing we are not programmed to be is the problem of being sad.) We are programmed to be fine. We are programmed to be ok. We are programmed to be fine. We can be ok.

It’s hard to believe that our programmed tendencies to be ok can ever be at odds with our programmed tendencies to be sad, but that’s the way it is. Even when we’re not sad, we’re programmed to feel ok. We are programmed to feel fine. We are programmed to feel ok. We are programmed to feel fine. We are programmed to feel fine. It’s like a virus, I suppose. It can be almost impossible to tell when it starts to affect our day to day lives, as we try to make ourselves feel better by changing what we eat and what we watch.
