By I am quite familiar with the movie Malayalam, as I grew up watching it, as that was one of the major reasons I moved to the US. I’ve watched it countless times, but this movie, as well as the movie version of the movie, that is called Kadalai, are quite different.
The movie is actually based on a book, but only in the movie version. Here, we get to see how things would be if people actually lived in the real world. We get to see how things would be if people actually thought, talked, and acted like people in the real world. We also get a glimpse of the life and culture of the real world, through the eyes of the main character, and how the people in the real world are different from the people in the movie.

Movie. It’s like watching a new episode of the “Glee” show one day, and being a huge fan the next. That’s how it feels like. The movie is the same thing, but with more of a ‘this one’s going to be the best’ feel. Like, “this is the best movie ever made.” But then the next one is going to be the best, and that’s the end of the movie.
So, how do you become a fan of the movie? Well, the way I do it, it’s like this. I look at the movie as a series of short vignettes, and I watch them slowly and I take them in. I think about the actors and the music, and I go to the theater to see the movie. If it sucks, I move on to the next one. If it’s awesome, I move on to the next one.
